Orders and delivery
How long will my order take?
Ready-made pieces are dispatched within 2-4 working days of payment. Custom and made-to-order pieces take about 2-4 weeks to make. Delivery then takes 2-4 working days to major centres and 4-7 working days elsewhere.
What does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on orders of R2,000 and over, and R300 on smaller orders. You can also collect free of charge from our Brackenfell studio. See delivery and payment.
Do you deliver outside South Africa?
We currently deliver within South Africa. For anything else, please contact us.
Payment
How can I pay?
By debit or credit card or Instant EFT at our secure checkout. All prices include VAT.
How does payment work for a custom piece?
Pieces from our range, including those we make to order in your size, metal or stone, are paid in full at checkout. A custom design, for which we send you a preview (a drawing or render) to approve before we make it, starts with a 50% non-refundable deposit; the balance is paid before it is dispatched or collected.
Sizing
How do I find my ring size?
The most accurate way is to have your finger measured by a jeweller. At home, you can measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits and use our ring size guide. Wider bands may need a slightly larger size.
What if my ring doesn't fit?
If a ready-made ring you bought is not in your size, we resize it once, free of charge, if you contact us within 7 days of receiving it (courier costs are for your account). Custom and made-to-order rings are made in the size you give us, so please check it with our ring size guide before ordering.
Returns and warranty
Can I return something?
Ready-made pieces bought online can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Custom pieces are made to your specifications, so they cannot be returned unless they are faulty; you have 7 days from delivery to ask us to adjust a custom piece that is not as agreed. See returns, refunds and warranty.
What warranty do I get?
Every piece carries a 6-month warranty on manufacturing: if it cracks, breaks or has a defect you did not cause, we repair or replace it (under the Consumer Protection Act you may also choose a refund). Custom pieces have a 7-day satisfaction window from delivery. Moissanites carry a lifetime warranty against chips and scratches. Repairs and stone setting we do are guaranteed for 3 months. Will my silver tarnish?
All sterling silver can tarnish over time. Our silver uses a tarnish-resistant alloy, and tarnish polishes away; it is not a defect. White gold does not tarnish.
Custom designs
Can you make a piece to my design?
Yes. Book a design consultation with Chantelle at our studio or online.
Do you engrave?
Yes, inside or on top of a piece. Contact us with your wording for a quote.
Which metals and stones do you work with?
Sterling silver and 9ct and 18ct yellow, white and rose gold. Stones include Swiss AAA cubic zirconia, moissanite, lab-grown diamonds, natural gemstones and natural diamonds (natural diamonds are priced on request).
